Using pixels as a template, I cross stitched some of Rensis' favorite Pokemon onto his towels.
It was a bit of an experiment, since I'm going to be doing the same thing to mine for a Mario Underwater theme.  * Mudkip (bottom) was hand stitched directly on the towel (the initial cross stitch fabric was pulled out after). * Hoppip (second up) was done the same way, but with more thread. * Combee was first stitched onto cross stitch fabric, then cut out, reinforced on the edges and sewn on kinda like a patch. This made it a heck of a lot easier to complete (instead of dragging a towel around), but the process of cutting it out and making sure it doesn't unravel is a big pain. Pokemon (c) Nintendo |

14 count fabric
3 strands (for 14 count or lower) of thread/floss
and make sure the stitches are loose.
That way you can pull out the cross stitch fabric easily! The mudkip was done with only 2 strands each, which is why you can see through it. D:
